Ambient Air Cleaners
M-30 3000CFM
KEA Ambient Air Cleaners provide efficient removal of irritating contaminants such as smoke, chemical fumes, mist, or dust. The method in which these units operate: dirty air enters one side of the collector and is trapped in the filters and then clean air is exhausted. INSTALLATION: Suspend from the ceiling with chains/threaded rod or hang on the wall with brackets.
Here are the Key Benefits
- Avoid health and safety hazards that cause respiratory ailments.
- Reduce make-up air requirements by cleaning and re-circulating air versus exhausting outside.
- Reduce housekeeping by filtration with airborne particles that settle on equipment.
- Lower in cost for the amount of cfm.
- Assists meeting OSHA standards (based upon filtration and design considerations).

- MODEL M3075.2 M-30 AMBIENT AIR CLEANER SYSTEM WITH "T" AIR FLOW PATTERN DESIGN (entry both ends & exhausts out on front side): 3/4 HP (3000 CFM), UL APPROVED, ON/OFF SWITCH WITH LO/HI SETTING, 10' POWER CORD, MAGNEHELIC GAUGE, SPECIFY EYEBOLTS OR L BRACKETS, WITH (2) FILTERS
Sizing Example:
A company performs orbital sanding in their production process. Several employees sand all day long. The airborne dust irritates employees in the room, along with creating a housekeeping issue. The room is 60' x 40' x 15' tall = 36,000 cubic feet.
36,000 x "air changes per hour needed:" Use 6 for light dust/fumes/smoke, 8 for moderate, and 10 for heavy. 33,600 x 10 (heavy)= 360.000.
360,000 divided by 60 minutes per hour= 6,000 cfm required for all the air in the room to cycle through the filters 10 times an hour. The M-30 is rated for 3,000 cfm, so 6,000 divided by 3,000 = 2 units required.
For this application we would recommend (2) M-30s staggered in the room. To create a more circular airflow pattern in the room. (4) units could be used.

- WITH STRAIGHT THRU AIR FLOW PATTERN DESIGN: 3/4 HP (2500 CFM), UL APPROVED, ON/OFF SWITCH WITH LO/HI SETTING, 10' POWER CORD, MAGNEHELIC GAUGE, SPECIFY EYEBOLTS OR L BRACKETS, WITH (3) FILTERS INCLUDES CARBON (ODOR)
- MODEL M2575.3H M-25 AMBIENT AIR CLEANER SYSTEM WITH STRAIGHT THRU AIR FLOW PATTERN DESIGN: 3/4 HP (2500 CFM), UL APPROVED, ON/OFF SWITCH WITH LO/HI SETTING, 10' POWER CORD, MAGNEHELIC GAUGE, SPECIFY EYEBOLTS OR L BRACKETS, WITH (3) FILTERS INCLUDES HEPA
Sizing Example:
A company performs welding and grinding intermittently at several work stations in a room. The smoke and fumes irritates employees in the room. Fans are installed in the room to assist with the smoke, while providing cool air during summer months. The room is 80' x 40' x 15' tall= 48,000 cubic feet.
48,000 x "air changes per hour needed:" Use 6 for light dust/fumes/smoke, 8 for moderate, and 10 for heavy. 48,000 x 10 (heavy)= 480,000.
480,000 divided by 60 minutes per hour= 8,000 cfm required for all the air in the room to cycle through the filters 10 times an hour. The M-25 is rated for 2,500 cfm, so 8,000 divided by 2,500 = 3.2 units required.
For this application we would recommend (4) M-25HE.'s staggered in the room. The HEPA filter option is best for smoke. However, (4) M-25CF's could be used if smell is more of an issue than the smoke.
